Delete your account

Effective October 19, 2026.

1. In the app

Open Profile → Settings → Delete account. Read the warning, confirm deletion and complete the fresh Google/Apple identity check offered by the app. Signing out or uninstalling does not delete your account.

2. Without the app

Email poruch.admin@gmail.com with subject “PORUCH account deletion request”. Identify your PORUCH account using the sign-in email or user ID. We will request proportionate verification of ownership. Never send your Google/Apple password or a session token. You may also use the existing authenticated web deletion flow at https://dev-api.poruch.us/account/delete.

3. What deletion does

Deletion removes operational profile data, photos, likes, matches, messages, saved location and sessions. Limited abuse-prevention, moderation audit, legal or store-verification records may remain for necessary purposes. Backups may retain prior data; no fixed maximum backup expiry is currently promised.

4. Cancel your subscription separately

Deleting PORUCH does not cancel a store subscription. Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → PORUCH → Cancel. iPhone: Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions → PORUCH → Cancel. Refunds follow store rules and applicable law.
